Professor Phillip Brainard, an absent minded professor, works with his assistant Weebo, trying to create a substance that's a new source of energy and that will save Medfield College where his sweetheart Sara is the president. He has missed his wedding twice, and on the afternoon of his third wedding, Professor Brainard accidentally creates flubber, which allows objects to fly through the air. It behaves like rubber, so he calls it flubber (Flying Rubber). When he misses the third wedding, he tries to explain it to Sara by demonstrating flubber, but he falls out the window and Sara breaks up with him and starts seeing Wilson Croft (Christopher McDonald), a professor from another college. Meanwhile, Phillip creates a flying car to win Sara back and tries to figure out ways to control the flubber. He then gets an idea to use the flubber to help the Medfield basketball team win the championship, which they did, but he didn't win Sara's heart back. Back at the house, he explains to Weebo that he's absent-minded because he's in love with Sara and Weebo records him saying it. He goes to Sara's house to prove it to her. Philip then wakes up to see Sara on top of him and she kisses him. Croft's minions steal the flubber and destroy Weebo. Brainard and Sara get the flubber back in a flubberistic battle and the film ends with Sara and Phillip flying away in the car with Weebo's daughter in tow having finally married through a video screen.

Many gags are embellishments from the 1961 film, with John Hughes (Home Alone) rewriting the original Bill Walsh screenplay (based on Samuel W. Taylor's short story, A Situation of Gravity). Though Walsh died in 1975, he received posthumous credit for this script. Filming began October 8, 1996 in San Francisco.

Finding Nemo is a 2003 American CGI animated film. It was written by Andrew Stanton, directed by Stanton and Lee Unkrich and produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios. It tells the story of the overly protective clownfish Marlin, voiced by Albert Brooks, who along with a regal tang called Dory, voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, searches for his son Nemo, voiced by Alexander Gould. Along the way he learns to take risks and that his son is capable of taking care of himself.

The film received overwhelmingly positive reviews and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. It was a financial blockbuster as it grossed over $864 million worldwide.[1] It is the best-selling DVD of all time, with over 40 million copies sold as of 2006[2] and is the highest grossing G-rated movie of all time. In 2008, the American Film Institute named it the tenth greatest animated film ever made during their 10 Top 10. It was also the first Pixar animations studio film not to be released in November.[3]

Ratatouille is a 2007 computer-animated film produced by Pixar and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The film was the eighth movie produced by Pixar, and was directed by Brad Bird, who took over from Jan Pinkava in 2005. The title refers to a French dish which is served late in the film, and is also a play on words on the species of the main character.

The plot follows Remy, a rat who dreams of becoming a chef and tries to achieve his goal by forming an alliance with a Parisian restaurant's garbage boy. Ratatouille was released on June 29, 2007 in the United States, to both critical acclaim and box office success, and later won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, among other honors.

The Return of Jafar (also known as Aladdin: The Return of Jafar) is a 1994 animated direct-to-video sequel to the 1992 film Aladdin, produced by The Walt Disney Company. The movie was released on May 20, 1994 and serves as the origin of the Aladdin animated series. Another direct-to-video sequel, Aladdin and the King of Thieves, followed in 1996.

The movie centers on Jafar, the villain from Aladdin, trying to gain his revenge against Aladdin and his companions, Princess Jasmine, Genie, Abu, Carpet, Iago(he turned against Jafar), and the Sultan, and become the ruler of Agrabah.

It was the first Disney direct-to-video animated feature release, and is currently available on Special Edition DVD (with "Aladdin:" added to the title), with digitally restored picture and remastered sound. The Special Edition DVD went back to the Disney Vault on Jan 31, 2008. This was the first and only Aladdin full-length production without the original voice of Genie, Robin Williams. He was replaced by Dan Castellaneta, who also voiced the Genie in the animated series as well as in Kingdom Hearts and is also best known for voicing Homer Simpson. Williams returned as the Genie in Aladdin and the King of Thieves.

The cast and crew include some veterans of Seinfeld's long-running NBC sitcom Seinfeld, including writer/producers Feresten and Robin, and actors Michael Richards (Seinfeld character Cosmo Kramer), Patrick Warburton (Seinfeld character David Puddy), and Larry Miller (who plays the title character on the Seinfeld episode "The Doorman").

Film received positive critical reception. Taran Adarsh gave the film four stars saying "a beautiful movie". Times of India (national newspaper) gave it Three stars. Planet Bollywood gave the film 8.0/10 public rated and 7.3 according to their unique users.

Superman Returns is a 2006 superhero film based on the DC Comics character Superman. Directed by Bryan Singer, the film stars Brandon Routh as Superman, as well as Kate Bosworth, Kevin Spacey, James Marsden and Parker Posey. Superman Returns is a loose continuation of Superman (1978) and Superman II (1980). The film tells the story of Superman returning to Earth after several years of absence. He finds that Lois Lane has moved on with her life and that Lex Luthor is plotting a scheme that will destroy the United States.

After a series of unsuccessful projects to resurrect Superman on the screen, Warner Bros. hired Bryan Singer to direct and develop Superman Returns in July 2004. The majority of principal photography took place at Fox Studios Australia, Sydney, while the visual effects sequences were created by Sony Pictures Imageworks; filming ended in November 2005. Superman Returns was released with positive reviews, and grossed $391 million in worldwide box office totals. However, Warner Bros. was somewhat disappointed with the box office return and are now considering a future reboot of the Superman franchise.[2]

Jurassic Park is a 1993 science fiction thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg and based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. The film centers on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, where scientists have created an amusement park of cloned dinosaurs. John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) invites a group of scientists, played by Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern, to inspect the park prior to its public opening. Sabotage sets the dinosaurs loose, and the technicians and visitors attempt to escape the island.

Spielberg acquired the rights to the novel before its publication in 1990, and Crichton was hired to adapt his novel. David Koepp wrote the final draft, which left out much of the novel's exposition and violence, and also made numerous changes to the characters. Spielberg hired Stan Winston Studios to create animatronics to portray the dinosaurs, shots of which were then mixed with newly developed computer-generated imagery by Industrial Light & Magic. Paleontologist Jack Horner aided the actors and the special effects team in creating authenticity (although aspects of the animals' depictions became outdated due to changes in evolutionary theories). Filming took place from August 24 to November 30, 1992, in Kaua?i, O?ahu, and California.

Jurassic Park is regarded as a landmark in the use of computer-generated imagery, and received positive reviews from critics, who praised the effects, though reactions to other elements of the picture, such as character development, were mixed. During its release, the film grossed more than $914 million worldwide, becoming the most successful film released up until that time, and it is currently the eleventh-highest-grossing feature film (taking inflation into account, it is the 17th-highest-grossing film in North America). It is the most successful film directed by Steven Spielberg. Jurassic Park spawned a franchise, including the sequels The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) and Jurassic Park III (2001).

X-Men is a 2000 superhero film based on the fictional Marvel Comics characters of the same name. Directed by Bryan Singer, the film stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Famke Janssen, Bruce Davison, James Marsden, Halle Berry, Rebecca Romijn, Ray Park and Tyler Mane. It introduces Wolverine and Rogue into the conflict between Professor Xavier's X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants, led by Magneto. Magneto intends to mutate world leaders at a United Nations summit with a machine he has built to bring about acceptance of mutantkind, but Xavier realizes this forced mutation will only result in their deaths.

Development for X-Men began as far back as 1989 with James Cameron and Carolco Pictures. The film rights went to 20th Century Fox in 1994. Scripts and film treatments were commissioned from Andrew Kevin Walker, John Logan, Joss Whedon and Michael Chabon. Singer signed to direct in 1996, with further rewrites by Ed Solomon, Singer, Tom DeSanto, Christopher McQuarrie and David Hayter. Start dates kept getting pushed back, while Fox decided to move X-Men's release date from December to July 2000. Filming took place from September 22, 1999 to March 3, 2000, primarily in Toronto. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is a 2005 fantasy adventure film, based on J. K. Rowling's novel of the same name. The film is the fourth installment in the Harry Potter film series, although 1492 Pictures decided to leave the series. The film was directed by Mike Newell and produced by David Heyman. Script was penned by Steve Kloves. The film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as Potter, Weasley and Granger. Set in Potter's life at his fourth year in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a highly awaited competition, the Triwizard Tournament is held between three schools of witchcraft and wizardry in Hogwarts. One student is selected from each school, but mystery occurs when the Goblet of Fire chooses Harry Potter as a fourth competitor.

Filming began in early 2004 and the scenes of Hogwarts took place at the Leavesden Film Studios. Five days after its release, the film had grossed over US$102 million at the North American box office, the highest first-weekend tally for a Harry Potter film, and enjoyed an immensely successful run at the box office, earning over $895 million worldwide, making it the highest grossing film of 2005 and the 8th-highest grossing film of all time. It was the third highest grossing film in the U.S. for 2005 making $290 million. As of July 2009 it is the unadjusted 12th highest-grossing film of all time. As of July 2009 it is currently the third-highest grossing Harry Potter film, behind Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Art Direction, but lost to Memoirs of a Geisha. However, the film won BAFTA Award for Best Production Design making it the only Potter film to win a BAFTA award. This was also the first Harry Potter film to receive a PG-13 rating by the MPAA and a 12a in the UK or its international equivalents (for sequences of fantasy violence and frightening images), the preceding films and the upcoming Half-Blood Prince film adaptation having been rated PG or its international equivalents. This was the second Potter film to be released in IMAX theaters.

The film shot primarily at Leavesden Film Studios, as well as historic buildings around the country, and was released in the United Kingdom and the United States in November 2001. Along with mostly positive critical reception, it made in excess of $976 million at the worldwide box office and received three Academy Award nominations. The second, third, fourth, and fifth, and sixth books have also been adapted into successful films, with the seventh confirmed.

As the police prepare to hand Blade over to a group of vampires, Blade is rescued by Hannibal King (Ryan Reynolds) and Abigail Whistler (Jessica Biel). The two head a group of vampire hunters called the Nightstalkers, formed by Blade's mentor to assist him. King and Abigail reveal that Danica Talos (Parker Posey), who was the vampire who bit King, has located the first vampire, Drake. Talos hopes that by resurrecting him, Drake (Dominic Purcell) will help save the vampire race by producing more daywalkers, and eliminate Blade. In his first confrontation with Blade, Drake shows a sort of affinity for the Blade, as they are both "honorable warriors" (ironically, while Drake is delivering his speech about honor, he is hiding behind a baby he has taken hostage). During the chaos, King is incapacitated by Drake.

Two years after the end of the previous film, Jared Nomak, dressed in rags, enters a blood bank in Prague looking to donate. A doctor leads him to a secluded chamber, where he quickly learns that the bank is run by vampires intent on draining him. They smirk when they tell him about their plan to drain him, he cries but soon he begins to laugh derisively before feeding on the vampire woman he uses superhuman strength to fight back before feeding on the rest of the vampires. Meanwhile, Blade cuts a swath through the vampire population of Prague to find his old mentor Abraham Whistler being kept in suspended animation. He rescues Whistler, who has been turned into a vampire, and administers an accelerated version of the cure that was developed in the first film. Whistler revives and learns that Blade has procured a new weaponsmith in his absence, Scud.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is a 2007 American superhero film, and sequel to the 2005 film Fantastic Four. Both films are based on the Fantastic Four comic book. The film was directed by Tim Story, who also directed the first film in the series, Fantastic Four. Ioan Gruffudd as Reed Richards, Jessica Alba as Sue Storm-Richards, Chris Evans as Johnny Storm, and Michael Chiklis as Ben Grimm are the film series' recurring protagonists, while Julian McMahon and Kerry Washington reprised their roles from the first film as, respectively, Victor von Doom and Alicia Masters. Doug Jones and Beau Garrett appear in the sequel as the Silver Surfer and Frankie Raye, respectively, along with Laurence Fishburne as the voice of the Silver Surfer. The plot follows the Fantastic Four as they confront, and later ally with, the Silver Surfer to save the planet Earth from Galactus. While the movie was the highest-grossing film during the week that immediately followed its release on June 15, 2007 in North America and was the recipient of two out of fifteen awards nominations, it was not well received by critics. The film was released onto high-def Blu-ray Disc and DVD on October 2, 2007.

Anaconda 3: Offspring

A very large anaconda is captured from the Amazon River basin and is being kept in a scientific lab. Certain drugs along with a serum extracted from Blood Orchid (from the previous film) was added to it so as to test why such a serum only has its effect on snakes. Murdoch (John Rhys-Davies), a well-known industrialist, is paying for this research. One day the anaconda escapes from the lab and kills several scientists and assistants. A team of animal hunters led by Hammett (David Hasselhoff), a well-known snake catcher, along with Dr. Amanda Haze (Crystal Allen) from the lab lead their way to the forest to find the snake. After sometime, Amanda tells the hunters that the anaconda is pregnant. Hammett forbids the others from calling the military, and warns Amanda that she could be jailed for injecting the snakes with transgenics). All the hunters in the team are killed except for Hammett and Amanda. Amanda realizes that Hammet is actually working for Murdoch. Inside an old building, the anaconda gives birth to many babies. After a bomb is set in the building, Amanda leaves Hammett in the building with the snakes. The bomb explodes and Amanda leaves, stopping to burn all the papers related to the research and hoping she was successful in killing all of the snakes. One of Murdoch's men goes into the building and retrieves one of the baby snakes to take back to him.

The Incredible Hulk is a 2008 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character the Hulk. It is directed by Louis Leterrier and stars Edward Norton as Dr. Bruce Banner/the Hulk. It is not a sequel to Hulk (2003), but rather a reboot that establishes a new back-story where Banner became the Hulk as an unwitting pawn in a military scheme to reinvigorate the supersoldier program through gamma radiation. On the run, he attempts to cure himself of the Hulk before he is captured by General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (William Hurt), but his worst fears are realized when power-hungry soldier Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) becomes the Abomination. Liv Tyler also stars as Betty Ross, Banner's girlfriend and General Ross's daughter.

Marvel Studios reacquired the rights to the character after the mixed reception to Hulk, and writer Zak Penn began work on a loose sequel that would be much closer to the comics and the television series. Norton rewrote the script after he signed on to star, which clarified the film's new back-story. Leterrier aimed to make the film realistic, giving a more frightening direction for the look of the monsters, while redesigning the Abomination from the comics' reptilian humanoid into a mutated monster with bony protrusions. Filming mostly took place in Toronto, Canada in 2007, where the production attempted to be environmentally friendly.

The film is considered to have outgrossed its predecessor and received more positive reviews, Despite this perceived positive reception Marvel chose to put off a possible sequel until after 2012's The Avengers. As of April 6, 2009, the film has grossed $263,427,551 in worldwide box office and it made $85,755,879 in home video sales, bringing its total film gross to $349,183,430.[2]
